Junip is an up and coming reviews platform, but we think it still trails our recommended tool. Junip was founded in 2020 by a team from Smile.io (loyalty tool). They have fewer out-of-the-box integrations than our recommended tool but have a good looking widget and great survey flow. They have landed well known brands including Jones Road, Hexclad, and Olipop. We’re continuing to monitor this company as they may one day reach feature parity with our recommended tool.

After working together and scaling smile.io to over $10 million in ARR, Stuart Arsenault and technical co-founder Robin departed to start Junip in 2019, with Ben Jabbawy as their first investor. Seeing an opportunity to disrupt incumbent review solutions like Yotpo, they built a mobile-first review platform designed specifically for DTC brands. With a relentless focus on product and efficient growth, Junip was able to scale rapidly with little funding and established itself as a critical player in the Shopify ecosystem for product reviews and UGC syndication. Within a few years, Junip was generating impressive growth and disrupting the review incumbents.
Junip pricing is straightforward and scales based on the number of orders per month. The Essentials plan supports up to 500 orders. The Standard plan supports up to 2,000 orders and includes Google shopping syndication. And the Pro plan supports up to 10,000 orders.
