‍Our Take:

Reamaze is a super affordable help desk product. It was purchased by GoDaddy in 2021, and has a similar eCommerce focus and UI to Gorgias but at a significant discount. They are well known for their live chat feature. On the low end, we typically recommend Help Scout (better UX) and for more established stores we typically recommend Gorgias (better automations). That said, Reamaze is not a bad option for an affordable customer service platform. Reamaze customers include Caulipower, Caraway Home, and Roark.

Reamaze overview:

Lu Wang started Reamaze, a multi-channel help desk software company, in 2012 with two co-founders - a technical co-founder and a marketing co-founder. They raised a small $500k round from friends and family to fund initial development costs. In 2013, Wang sold a previous SaaS app startup to GoDaddy and went to work there for a few years. In 2016, after leaving GoDaddy, Wang came back full-time to Reamaze. Reamaze initially gained traction through organic growth on ecommerce platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce. In 2021, Reamaze was acquired by GoDaddy making it the second startup that Lu sold to them.
